Back in April, 2002 the dream of the Marina Sport's owner Tomislav Hanževački became a reality. His
hobby and passion for the sea resulted in investment in vessel production. In the beginning with only 6 employees, in rented warehouses in Bakar the company started with preparation for the
production of the very first project: sailing boat FIUMANKA 33. Once the boat was in the sea, we realized that we had built one very fast sailing boat.
In the next period we produced our
sailing boat MARINA 36 SPORT, fisherman ORKA 700, and two semi-displacement motor boats MARINA 37 YACHT and MARINA 32 YACHT. Our team also developed sailing boat MARINA 26 SPORT. This one is
a smaller version of her bigger sister Marina 36 Sport. New projects are waiting on the drawing table of our “home” designer Mr. Andrej Justin. Every new-born boat we make in our factory
presents a real pleasure for us.
Today Marina Sport occupies 6000 square meters roofed over, self owned production area and employs over 50 workers.
By increasing the number of
finished vessels and developing new models, we want to turn the new page of the Croatian small boat industry.
